From Round 4, we will assess EMDG applications in the order we receive them.
Applications will be treated the same, irrespective of who lodges them.
Once funding is fully allocated for each grant tier, we will close the EMDG online portal for that tier. There will be some allowance for ineligibility and non-acceptance of grant agreements.
We will regularly communicate the status of the total funding allocation by tier. We will do this on the Austrade corporate website and the EMDG online portal.
We will not accept applications once the round is closed.
Even if you lodge your application prior to the closure of the EMDG online portal, you may not be successful. We expect that there may be a high level of interest for this grant opportunity. The round may be oversubscribed.
You can only apply for one grant tier per round.
Your application will only be assessed at the tier level you apply for. If you apply for the wrong tier, your application will not be automatically moved to another tier. Make sure you select the correct tier by fully understanding the Eligibility criteria before you apply.
We check your application to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.
During the assessment process, we may contact you to clarify information you provided in your application.
We will not accept late applications.
We will not complete assessments of applications lodged with incomplete or incorrect information, such as incorrect documents uploaded. Check that all information and uploaded documents in your application are complete and correct before lodging it.
We will assess your application and advise you of the outcome as soon as possible.
You can log on to the EMDG online portal to check the status of your application.
If your application is successful, we will provide you with a grant agreement to accept. We will do this through the EMDG online portal. We will advise you of any specific conditions attached to the grant.
If you are unsuccessful, we will notify you in writing. We will also give you reasons for our decision.
