Forging partnerships at the Bengaluru Tech Summit

Australia’s presence at Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) was a resounding success, marked by tangible outcomes, meaningful connections, and a strengthened reputation.

The Australia pavilion buzzed with activity as attendees explored Australia’s latest offerings in virtual reality, and interactive and reactive tech. AI, cybersecurity, fintech, and medtech were also in the spotlight.

Australia’s High Commissioner to India Philip Green also made an appearance, commenting on how serious Australia is about working with India’s tech industry.

Australian firms saw plenty of huge wins. The rebranded Next XR Group inked distribution partnerships and deals with ACCPL and Zion Technologies, amplifying its reach in India.

ResMed also launched one of its latest products: the Airsense 11 a cutting-edge solution for Indian sleep apnoea patients. Read how ResMed is bringing the breath of life to millions in India.

The Western Australian Government also released the Western Australian Cyber Capability Directory. The directory lists Western Australian companies that provide cybersecurity services.

A first-hand look at India’s innovation hotspots

Mission highlight included visits to India’s innovation hotspots to explore partnerships, collaborations, and market access opportunities.

The group visited the IIT Madras Research Park — a startup incubation powerhouse that’s boosted 150+ startups, brought 200+ industry partners together, and attracted over 100 academic institutions and government agencies.

Next up was Posspole: a futuristic ecosystem that’s attracting the best and brightest minds across India. An impressive 90% of its startups have already achieved successful outcomes, with 80% of its entrepreneurs becoming job creators.

The HCLTech visit was also eye-opening. The company is a global giant with a presence in 60 countries. It serves over 2,000 clients and employs 220,000+ professionals across the tech space. A number of delegates are already engaging in strategic discussions with HCL due to the site visit.
