Paul Kenna commenced as Deputy Consul-General and Trade and Investment Commissioner based in Frankfurt, Germany in 2023. He is responsible for leading a team of trade and investment professionals. This team provides high quality trade and investment services to Australian and European clients.
He leads a team of business development professionals that connect Australian exporters with commercial opportunities in the regions of the Germany, Poland and Switzerland. The team also facilitates productive foreign direct investment into Australia.
Before this posting, Paul worked with a broad range of Austrade clients as a Global Engagement Manager, specialising in Agribusiness.
Paul has extensive private sector experience spanning international trade, sales, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and commercial finance. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of Modern Language (German) from The University of Melbourne. Paul is also a Chartered Accountant.
