Gaurav Johri
Trade and Investment Commissioner, Singapore
In June 2024 Gaurav commenced as Austrade’s Trade and Investment Commissioner in Singapore. In this role, he is under the Southeast Asia Investment Deal Teams initiative.
Gaurav has been with Austrade since 2018 in various roles in Sydney, London and Suva. Most recently he supported inbound investment from Asia into Australia.
Before Austrade, Gaurav worked in various roles in the financial sector. This included a UK fintech startup and Hastings Funds Management. He also worked in ANZ’s Corporate Banking division, responsible for a portfolio of large corporate clients.
Gaurav holds a Bachelor Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney.
