Andrea Myles is an award-winning, Mandarin-speaking senior executive and former entrepreneur. She is currently Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner at the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and formerly led the Greater China team for the NSW Government.
Andrea is a sought after keynote speaker on China business and innovation and has provided consulting advice to Fortune 500 companies. Her expertise is sought by the BBC, ABC, Sky News and Radio National. She has written on myriad China issues for The Guardian, AFR, The Diplomat and Company Director magazines.
Andrea has been named one of Australia's 100 Women of Influence by Westpac and Australian Financial Review (AFR) and Alumni of the Year of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She was co-founder and CEO of the award-winning China Australia Millennial Project, connecting 100 global talents per year via a world's-first bilateral innovation incubator and talent marketplace.
Andrea's qualifications include 2 bilingual Masters degrees in Chinese business and culture from UTS, Yunnan Normal University and the National Political University Taipei, a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Sydney and fellowships from the School for Social Entrepreneurs and Sydney Leadership Program.
